Sample Answer:

One foreign country I would love to visit is Japan. I’ve always been fascinated by its unique mix of ancient traditions and modern technology. I first learned about Japan through movies and travel vlogs, and since then, I’ve wanted to experience it myself.

If I have the chance, I’d like to go with my best friend because we both love Japanese culture, especially the food and art. We’d visit Tokyo for its lively city life, Kyoto for the temples and shrines, and maybe Hokkaido for its beautiful natural scenery.

What attracts me most about Japan is the balance between tradition and innovation. For example, people still wear traditional kimonos while living in cities filled with robots and skyscrapers. I also admire how clean and well-organized everything seems. Visiting Japan would not only be fun but also an eye-opening cultural experience that I’ll never forget.

PART 3

  1. How does travelling abroad affect young people?
Travelling abroad broadens young people’s horizons because they experience new cultures, foods, and lifestyles. For instance, studying or volunteering in another country helps them become more independent and adaptable. On the other hand, some might feel homesick or face culture shock at first, but overall, it’s a valuable learning experience.

  2. Do you think reading is a good way to learn about other countries?
Yes, reading is an excellent way to learn about foreign cultures because books and articles can give detailed information that you might not see as a tourist. For example, reading about Japan’s history helps you understand its traditions before visiting. However, books can’t replace real experiences—you truly understand a culture when you interact with locals.

  3. What makes countries different from each other?
Countries differ in many ways, such as language, traditions, geography, and values. For instance, Vietnam has a warm, community-based culture, while some Western countries focus more on individual freedom. These differences make the world more diverse and interesting, even though they sometimes lead to misunderstandings between cultures.
